Pardon me while I ooh and ahh, and maybe even drool a bit.
My new favorite is in Skyline Country Club, all the way up, almost at the top, with spectacular views of the entire Tucson valley.
It's new construction, masonry built in 2007 by Mike Wachs, who is well known as a master builder of ultra high quality homes.
This one is a simple and elegant interpretation of the Spanish Colonial style. Nothing fussy, nothing overdone.
Beyond how beautiful it is, and the spectacular views - as I walked through it again and again, because I couldn't get enough - I was struck by the simplicity and elegance of the design, and the quality of the materials and craftsmanship that went into it.
And it's not one of those giant homes with stadium sized rooms that are so big you couldn't imagine how to actually live in them.
It's just 4079 sq. ft., 3 bedroom/3 baths, and a library/office.
And at $2,200,000, it is pricey. But if you're in that price range, and this sounds at all like what you're looking for, see it first, before you write it off and decide it's too pricey. And I'd be glad to show it, again, and again,...
