3550 E Entrada Del Sol, in Cat 10, went to contract today listed at $1,295,000 ($307/sf)
It’s been listed on & off, but mostly on, since October 2008 when it started out at $1,450,000. It was built in 1985 by La Quinta - one of my few favorites – and manages to be both beautiful and charming at the same time. It was purchased by this owner in 2003 for $523,500 and, at that time, was a 2900 sf house.
They added 1200+ sf and renovated the existing house from stem to stern. And a beautiful, quality job they did. I showed this house a few times and hoped that one of my clients would buy it. It is special.
But it’s also not for everyone.
In any case, if it sells for $1,000,000 or more, and I’m betting that it will, easily, it will be the highest $$$ sale in Cat 10 since February 2008. Noo, you say. Yes, sad but true.
