“… Just wanted to tip you to a possible foreclosure in Pima Canyon. The Saguaro Blossom property you recently posted in your blog has recently had it's front door removed and replaced with plywood, the ornamental iron gate removed and all potted plants. Looks like the expired listing has turned into a foreclosure. It is surreal to see a beautiful multiple-million dollar home boarded up and stripped of it's beauty. What a sign of the times......” (from a reader)
he is referring to 1682 E Sahuaro Blossom Place, which I talked about in my post > they watched the market come and go < I ended that post asking,
…now it’s going on 7 years old and it’s expired again today, this time at $2,295,000 ($392/sf). What next. (here are a couple of shots of the backyard from then & now)
Well I never expected that foreclosure was what was next. Really I didn’t.
Not for this house. Probably because Sahuaro Blossom was one of the most exotic spec homes built during that early boom time and being for sale from 04 ‘til now, it had become a fixture, an icon really, of the excesses of the boom in high-end spec building. But it was fun while it lasted.
looks like the fall of ancient Rome. What next.
